CGF Research Institute (Pty) Ltd is a Proudly South African organisation that specialises in conducting umbrella research on Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).

Our clients are progressive organisations who understand that Corporate Governance is the cornerstone of a sustainable enterprise and extends well beyond the boundaries of any individual profession, process, horizon or hierarchy. It is essential to understand Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) in all its breadth and depth.

Organisations of all sizes in South Africa need to develop and apply sound corporate governance principles and institute high ethical values for the benefit of investors, their stakeholders and the communities in which they operate. Accordingly, they require material and tools to assist them tackle the huge challenge of understanding its broadness and where to begin, as well as instilling a greater awareness of, and compliance to, good corporate governance amongst all stakeholders.

In early 2010, CGF  was appointed by AllWorld Network as a Nominating Partner of the South Africa Fast Growth 100 (SAFG 100) in its inaugural year, where we help to identify some of the country’s entrepreneurial heroes who are driving the country’s next economy.  Well-known Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter is the Chair of the AllWorld Advisory Board, which also includes George M. Gendron, founding editor-in-chief of Inc. Magazine and founder of the Inc. 500 list.  Finding these companies across industries and different parts of the country is a significant undertaking, and AllWorld Network relies on a network of Nominating Partners such as CGF, who have links to the entrepreneurial and business community.  These partners play a pivotal role in identifying suitable candidates for the SAFG 100, and motivating their application to the programme.  The SAFG 100 programme is partnered by Endeavor SA, the United Nations Office for Partnerships, Harvard Kennedy School and the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU).
